see you in hell, mafia wars

my facebook friends have seen me complain about the crapload of notifications I receive in facebook about mafia wars and other stuff I just don’t find important. someone (yes, you debbie) kept telling me I could just disable them. this morning I decided to find out how to make mafia wars take a dirt nap. to put farmville out to pasture. and so on.

blocking facebook notifications

notificationclick on the little notification icon at the bottom right of your screen (and of the image at right). then click on ‘see all’ to bring up the screen with the controls you will use.

notification2

the circled area is what you’re looking for. just uncheck what you don’t want to see and presto!

your notifications list (at left) will change as you check and uncheck items so you can be sure you’re not accidentally removing something you want notifications about.
